Why this job: Putting out fires is kinda a big deal in submarines, dontcha know? And somewhere down the line, he was a fire officer on a sub. He would join the border patrol or police force, but he reckons he's got a better chance of getting in charge of something like this. Also, he'd be very good at sea rescue, if and when needed.
