Character’s name: Sergeant Neil Howie.
Canon: The Wicker Man.
Classification: Town Person.
AU information: - Neil Howie was originally on Zanzibar assisting local police and the British Consulate in the disappearance of a Scottish girl.

- He was determined to return home when he heard about the disease, but was repeatedly told to stay by his fiancee. He finally decided to return anyway a little too late, and missed the last plane out.

- Since being stuck here, he has volunteered entirely to assist the local police in keeping order, especially amongst other refugees. He's considered an acting Sergeant in the local police, but might soon be made a real one.

- He's still a Christian, judgemental, Scottish police sergeant. Nothing will change that. Not even the end of the world. His relationship with his religion is on somewhat shaky ground after the past few weeks or so, but he's still prepared to act as a chaplain where necessary.
Inventory:
- Three police uniforms, all from the Grampian Police. Including warrant card and police driving, flying and sailing licences. Just saying.
- Police truncheon, handcuffs and other bits of kit.
- A Bible and prayer book.
- A crucifix, worn around his neck.
- A photograph of the missing girl, and case notes.
- beach shorts and flip flops (hey, the guy was in Zanzibar...)
- Some very stuffy pajamas.
- His wallet, including a photo of his fiancee and a Costa coffee card. JUST BECAUSE.
- A few John le Carre and Ian Fleming novels, and a copy of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy on DVD.
- A laptop.
- A mobile phone.
- Also, an MP3 player with a bunch of Biffy Clyro and Maximo Park on. Along with other stuff.

Character’s name: Svetlana Nazarova
Canon: Night Watch
Classification: Townsperson
AU information: Sveta was a district doctor, working in a clinic in Moscow. When her mother got sick and started acting strangely, Sveta, fearing for her mother’s life, got in touch with a doctor in Zanzibar, someone she had studied with at university. They agreed to meet and Sveta left her mother and rest of her family for a week. That was the week they closed the country and Sveta was trapped.

She continues working in the clinic in the town, as well as greeting people from the ships in the quarantine area, hoping that she’ll find someone from home.

She’s very naïve and innocent and believes that a vaccine and cure will be found soon. When she’s not working, she’s usually found in the clinic with her head buried in a book on her tablet or watching movies on her laptop.

Inventory:
- Her tablet
- A notebook and a couple of pens
- Three pairs of scrubs
- Clothes (a bathing suit, four pairs of shirts and jeans and two pairs of shoes/socks)
- Smart phone with her music/pictures/everything
- Five year old laptop
- Basic toiletries, including makeup
- Fancy legal paperwork with passport

From: [personal profile] quietsamurai
Your name: Sara
Best method of contact: ladysarai55@gmail.com
Character’s name: Tom Imura
Canon: Rot and Ruin and Dust and Decay by Jonathan Maberry
Classification: Boat arrival
AU information:

When Tom was a twenty year old cadet in the police academy, his father and adoptive mother were gunned down in the driveway of their San Diego home. His father was also a cop, and while it was never proven, their murders were thought to be related to one of his cases. Tom was devastated, but he had bigger things to focus on—like being left to raise his eighteen month old half-brother, Benny. Their aunt helped Tom take care of his baby brother for the first few years, so he could finish his time at the academy and find a job as a police officer. He wound up taking a job in a small, sleepy, safe town in the hills of California, far from the more dangerous cities he’d grown up in; more than anything, he wanted to keep Benny safe.

And so Tom and Benny made themselves a place in the sleepy town of Sunset Hollow; Tom eventually became one of two or three detectives in the local police force. He’s smart, fiercely protective, has a deep-seated sense of justice, and was well-respected in the community. (This didn’t mean his brother thought he was anything but boring, of course.) He was starting to teach Benny and his friends survival and the way of the samurai (things his father had taught him), when the disease hit. Tom watched the news and read reports, and as he saw it begin to invade his town, he had one thought—keep Benny safe.

To that end, Tom used his connections to find a ship and get himself and Benny onboard. They didn’t know where it was going, and had no idea what would happen to them, but Tom knew California didn’t hold a future for them anymore. They had to take a chance with the unknown if they wanted to survive. It killed him to leave the town he’d spent fourteen years serving and protecting, but for his brother’s sake, Tom packed a backpack and didn’t look back.

Inventory:
-2 pair jeans, 1 pair shorts, 3 t-shirts, 2 safari shirts, 1 pair pajama pants, socks and underwear, 1 windbreaker, 1 pair work boots, 1 San Diego Padres baseball hat (When they left, he wore: 1 pair jeans, 1 t-shirt, 1 safari shirt, 1 windbreaker, work boots and socks, hat)
-Basic toiletries (toothbrush, comb, etc)
-His wallet (containing drivers license, credit cards, cash, pictures of Benny, their parents and 1 picture of a redheaded woman and her daughter-Jessie and Nix Riley)
-Police badge and handcuffs
-Passport
-Tablet and smart phone, containing music, photos, books, etc
-a DVD containing old home videos

IF ALLOWED*:
-His handgun and assorted gear. Which he keeps on him. At all times.
-His katana sword, which he also wears or keeps at hand throughout their trip. He’ll be slightly more relaxed about the weapons once they’re on land, but will keep a close eye on them and only use them as permitted. (Unless he needs them to protect Benny.)

*If Tom can’t have both, the sword is preferred, please!

Character’s name: Benny Imura
Canon: Rot & Ruin Novels
Classification: Boat Arrival
AU information: After the death of his parents when he ws a baby, Benny was raised by his much older half-brother, Tom. While their aunt Cathy helped take care of Benny until she died, that was a long time ago, and since then, it's just been the two of them. Tom was a detective in the police force of Sunset Hollow where they lived (which, as far as Benny was concerned was just about the most boring town ever), but all he ever told Benny about were the boring cases, so is it really Benny's fault that he thinks his brother is the most boring, overprotective person in the history of ever?

When the plague... virus... thing... hit, though, people started getting scared, and even sleepy Sunset Hollow was affected. Tom started to get even more paranoid, if that was possible, and started teaching Benny and his friends how to defend themselves and others if they had to, and how to survive in what looked like a brave... scary new world. Even though it was a little scary, this was officially the most exciting thing Tom had ever done, and sixteen year old Benny threw himself into his new lessons with more energy than he'd ever put into his actual school work.

Eventually, Tom decided that they were better off leaving Sunset Hollow, California, and everything they knew, because people just kept getting sicker, and things were only getting worse. Benny didn't really like the idea. All of his friends--and his maybe kind of girlfriend--were in Sunset Hollow, and as much as he'd always wanted adventure, he didn't want to leave them behind. In the end, though, Tom was his family. So he packed a backpack and they left, hitching a boat to parts unknown.

Inventory:
iPhone, loaded with pictures and whatever music the kids are listening to these days.

Nintendo DS, with a few games (Pokemon Black and White, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days)

Clothes: (Similar to Tom Imura because Tom totally helped him pack/half did his packing for him)
-2 Pair jeans

-3 t-shirts
-2 safari shirts
-1 hooded zip-up sweatshirt
-sneakers
-socks and underwear
-San Diego Chargers baseball cap

Character’s name: Dr. Richard "Rex" Lewis
Canon: GI Joe Rise of Cobra
Classification: Townsperson
AU information: Much of Rex's history is the same as canon, only barring a major difference: he never got blown up. Still an evil little fucker, Rex spent his early life in academia, then went into the military after earning his PhD in Biomedical Engineering. He worked as a Combat Medic and as a Science Officer, which occasionally put him in the battlefield, but barring a close call in Africa, he largely avoided danger. Once his time in the army was up, Rex went into the private sector, working in R&D for one of the top suppliers of weapons and armaments in the world. He quickly worked his way up, but he never got to participate in any plots of world domination, thanks to, well, the end of the world cutting his career short.

By happenstance, Rex was vacationing in Zanzibar (well. "Vacationing". He was working on blueprints for new prototypes instead of relaxing) when the outbreak happened. He got stuck on the island, which didn't particularly bother him, since it at least seemed safe from the disease.

Well, okay, that's not true. He worries about his sister and has no idea if she's alive or dead. And he laments the loss of his career in this postapocalyptic world.

Inventory: As a vacationer, Rex has nothing useful like weapons on him.
-Two jeans and one pair of slacks
-Three button-up shirts and one t-shirt
-Several pairs of boxers
-Several pairs of socks
-One pair of boots and one pair of sandals (FOR BEACH TIMES)
-One pair of board shorts
-An iPad, iPod, Macbook Pro (HE'S A WHORE FOR APPLE)
-One watch
-Two notebooks full of research and weapons designs
-PENS
-Sunglasses

Character’s name: Susan Helitston
Canon: Discworld
Classification: Townsperson

AU information: Susan is in her late twenties, with a mass of curly prematurely grey hair, tall and thin, ice-blue eyes. She sounds rather posh; even though she speaks a number of languages and African dialects quite well, she's never lost her crisp upper-class accent. Her family has distant links to the British aristocracy; she went to Cambridge and took a first in history, and then promptly signed up with an NGO that was providing education in sub-Saharan Africa. Underestimate her at your peril; she once chased away a notorious human-eating lion with nothing more than a piece of rebar and a burning torch.

She has been working for the last five years as a schoolteacher with the NGO, and happened to be in Zanzibar en route to a conference when the Lurg started to spread. Taking charge and organizing people is hard-wired into Susan's nature, and she focused her efforts on the young people of the island, setting up a one-room schoolhouse and giving them some routine in their lives. She also helped set up a childcare collective with a few of the younger men and women.

She is efficient, no-nonsense, and very good with children; she doesn't coddle them so much as she treats them like inconveniently small adults, taking their problems seriously and giving them direct advice and information. She's generally more patient with people if they're under thirteen; snotty teenagers will be told to pull up their socks and stop bitching; adults who get in her way will be told when and where to step off in no uncertain terms. Some parents don't really like her much; they think she's bossy and they resent being told that they're managing their children incorrectly. Others think she's the greatest thing ever to happen to their youngsters.

Inventory:
Laptop computer and relevant accessories, including a printer (she guards her remaining paper closely).
Smartphone with photos, music, etc; all the usual.
A Leatherman multi-tool, well-used, and a whetstone.
Clothes: a broad-brimmed sunhat, a few loose-fitting cotton/linen blouses, lightweight trousers and shorts, underwear, sensible boots, a pair of sandals, two long linen scarves, an old military jacket.
Toiletries: toothbrush, hairbrush, hairpins.
A jealously guarded tin of violet candies.
Swiss chronograph wristwatch, manual wind, quite old and a bit large for a woman's wrist (it was her father's, a going-away present).
A necklace with a tiny locket that she never takes off; inside are pictures of her parents.
Passport and other legal paperwork.

Character’s name: Mal Cobb (AU)
Canon: Inception (AU)
Classification: Townsperson

AU information: Mal is a clinical psychologist by training and is trying to provide some measure of mental health counseling to the inhabitants of the island. There is a lot of grief counseling going on, as you might imagine. She was on the island on business (the details of which are somewhat obscure; it's rumored that she had some kind of wealthy client who flew her out there for some kind of personal crisis management). After the Lurg broke out, she began offering her services to the refugees and residents of the island.

She's a kind and caring counselor, but outside of work she tends to keep to herself and hasn't made many friends. She does have a secret: three years ago, her husband (who had been suffering from delusional beliefs) had a psychotic break and attempted to kill himself and her by jumping from a hotel window. She tried to save him and nearly succeeded, but in the ensuing struggle he fell to his death. She was cleared of all charges of wrongdoing and the death was ruled an accident, but she still feels profound guilt; she believes she could have done something to save him, to treat his delusions better. She was also the mother of two children who were home with their grandparents, all of whom, she is certain, are dead.

Inventory:
Clothes: one highly impractical Chanel suit and heels; several t-shirts and a couple of cotton blouses, a few pairs of linen trousers, one pair of jeans, underwear, two pair of sensible flat shoes, cycling kit, bathing suit.
Folding bicycle: she's an avid cyclist and brought this with her on the trip. She uses the bike to get around town.
Makeup, toiletries.
Laptop with charger.
Smartphone.
Tablet computer.
A photograph of herself, her husband, and the children, in happier days. Sunglasses, suncreen.
Passport and other legal paperwork.

Your name: Karin
Best method of contact: PM or Plurk (finalprogramme)
Character’s name: Una Persson
Canon: Michael Moorcock's Multiverse
Classification: Boat arrival

AU information: Una didn't arrive with any other refugees. She washed up alone in a tiny lifeboat and claimed to be the last survivor of a pleasure yacht—said yacht was on a long-distance sailing trip when the Lurg hit, and when it ran out of fuel, it floated adrift for two weeks; the other men and women on board descended into madness and savagery, and finally Una managed to escape. This is probably true. But it remains unconfirmed.

She's dropped a number of hints about her life before the Lurg, and some of it has been independently confirmed by other refugees. She was a stage actress in London and had done some work in British TV—reasonably successful but just short of that big break in a hit series or film. There are suggestions that she had a pretty wild life before, and she does seem to be alarmingly good with a sharp knife—something she puts down to a fondness for hiking in difficult areas when she was younger.

The actual truth: She's an intelligence officer, what le Carré would have called a honey trap. The yacht story is actually true—but she was out there working over a weapons dealer. And she does have an acting career, one that she has carefully managed to be just short of stardom, and which she has used to gain access to powerful bad guys. Now she is literally adrift, without a handler or a job.

Inventory:
One of those hunting knives with a compass in the handle.
The hat, shirt, trousers, and sandals she was wearing when she washed up, somewhat the worse for wear.
Some water in a plastic bottle and food.
NO paperwork, no passport, no ID, nothing. It was probably lost when she was escaping the yacht.

After being dishonorably discharged for ~MYSTERIOUS REASONS~ that he will not disclose, Arthur found himself involved in a life of crime. He's a specialized type of thief, one who deals in information. Character’s name: Robert Capa
Canon: Sunshine
Classification: Townsperson
AU information: Capa is an astrophysicist from the East Coast who spent most of his life in some sort of school, university included. He published a paper on dark matter when he was 17 that thrust him into the scientific world. However, because dark matter was still such an unknown, he quickly faded from the spotlight without many people really remembering him.

He continued working on his research after he received his Doctorate and toured colleges, giving speeches and teaching lectures, but Capa preferred to stay on his own, doing his own research. After working for a week straight on a stuck equation, his family and friends collected a fund for his birthday to send him off on a vacation. So they sent him to Zanzibar, hoping that he'd relax. He ended up finding someone to talk science with and extended his stay a little longer. When the seaport closed, he, of course, stayed.

He sometimes thinks of his family, but he knows that they're probably dead and there's really nothing much he can do for them. So he just survives on the island, chilling out and trying to enjoy his very extended vacation. He does carry a little bit of guilt since they were the ones who saved him. Even indirectly.

Inventory:
- Beach shorts and flip flops (two pair of each)
- LOTS. OF. SUNSCREEN.
- Three notebooks FILLED with notes. Two pencils.
- Solar powered calculator
- Tablet/ phone/ laptop- all state of the art with music, apps, pictures and videos loaded on
- Two pairs of jeans, four shirts

Character’s name: Ben Jago
Canon: Othello (a mixture of Shakespearean canon and the 2001 film- hence the name change)
Classification: Boat arrival
AU information: As an ensign in the US Navy, as a SEAL, Ben spent most of his time hearing war stories from everyone else instead of really experiencing them on his own. However, he was always looking forward to the future. When an opening came around for a promotion, he was counting on a little bit of nepotism to help him secure the position. He was, after all, friends with a higher up named John Othello. But, as these things go, Ben didn't get the position and, instead, someone else did. Someone he despised.

He quickly used another ensign to kill him, and, through lies and deceit, managed to escape the notice of the authorities until John finally caught on to him. Iago deserted, leaving his wife and friends to flee the country. Luckily for him, the outbreak started just as he did and, when chaos broke out, he was able to escape without notice. The boat that he left on, however, was one of the fateful few that were without port. Until he arrived at Zanzibar.

He claims a police background, instead of a military one, but carries himself as a soldier and the equipment that he has is usually military grade. He doesn't care about the family he left behind and rarely even mentions them. Whenever his past is mentioned, he clams up.

Inventory:

- Jeans (2) and shirt (2) (including what he came with)
- Ripped insignia from his uniform that he keeps hidden
- Book of poetry
- Phone
- Driver's license/military ID (hidden)
- Basic toiletries
- Black diving watch
- Tattered copy of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales

Character’s name: Commander Fraser Macbeth. (also, technically, Admiral Macbeth. Long story.)
Canon: Macbeth. The Shakespeare one.
Classification: Boat Arrival.
AU information: - Macbeth is/was a submariner in the Royal Navy, and his submarine found itself at sea, with no available command. There are protocols for such things, but the submarine quickly ran out of countries to refer its command to. So it was stranded.

- At the beginning of this whole affair, Macbeth was Lieutenant-Commander on the submarine, and found himself one of the highest ranking officers left in the whole Navy. A dream he had promised him command of the entire Navy (which, okay, was one submarine), and that he would soon be Sub-Commander. He didn't believe a word of it until Sub-Commander Cawdor was suspected to have the Lurg and ordered shot. This went straight to Macbeth's head, and, with some help from his on-board girlfriend, set about murdering Commander Duncan himself. He framed two able seamen, executed them, and took control of the ship.

- His command was brutal and swift, and ended in the deaths of a good few more seamen, who he was terrified might know what had happened and depose him.

- Eventually, they did depose his charge of the ship (by force. His girlfriend disappeared...), so he brought the ship to surface, scrambled into a lifeboat and rowed for his life, until he ended up on the shores of Zanzibar.

- And yes. He does know who he shares a name with. Suggest it's ironic, and he'll punch you.
Inventory:
- The uniform on his back. One might notice that his Commander insignia are sewn on slightly shoddily.
- one handgun and ammunition.
- two oars. Lord knows why he kept these.
- A series of military medals, attached to said uniform.
- The Letter Of Command from the HMS Triumph. And the key to the nukes. :/

Character’s name: Rachid Mansour
Canon: Sirens.
Classification: townsperson.
AU information: - Rachid isn't so much an AU as a post-canon. Basically, he's 8 years older and still an EMT.
- Rachid was on holiday. An awesome, tropical holiday that he'd saved up for AGES for. He's very gutted that the whole thing has destroyed itself. 'very gutted' is a bit of an understatement, as all his friends and family are dead, but let's not get into that right now. In fact, let's pretend that never happened and he still IS on holiday.

- That's basically was his strategy until a government official came and poked him with a stick on the beach and asked him what he was doing to help. After a few moments of debate, and then being threatened with toilet cleaning duty, he owned up to being an EMT. Which he probably would have done anyway - Rachid's a good guy at heart, just a bit lazy and a bit dim from time to time.

- Since then, he's been given one of the few motorbikes and emergency medical kits. See his inventory.

- Just like canon, he loves Angry Birds, is a previously convicted, and reformed, joyrider (he drives them ambulances like they're stolen), and is an on-and-off-again Muslim, who will drink, but not eat bacon, observe Ramadan, but not really go to the mosque much.

Inventory:

- A bottle of Malibu, bought in duty free.
- An iPhone with Angry Birds, a ton of music, pictures and random downloads from youtube. You know he loves it.
- ten pairs of beach shorts.
- two t-shirts. You can see his priorities.
- A pair of aviators. He wears these constantly.
- A travel sized Islamic prayer mat.

Acquisitions from the island

- A motorbike and petrol ration card.
- A EMT sized first aid kit. Sans defibrillators, but you're gonna have to live with that.
- A high-vis vest, with 'AMBULANCE' written on the back in marker pen.

In the ensuing chaos, he had a bag packed and was ready to evacuate, but was separated from his family and his best friend Stuart. He managed to make his way to Liverpool and get on a boat, hoping his loved ones managed the same. buywithme: (Could it be I am a bad person?)

Character’s name: Issac Prefect
Canon: The Factory
Classification: Boat Arrival
AU information: Prefect has lived his entire life on the compound of a polygamist cult somewhat derived from Mormonism. He was raised in a family with five mothers, and in all has twenty-two brothers and sisters left on the mainland of the united states when the disaster struck. His father was often around, but between his five wives, twenty three children, and various cult duties, was always more of an abstract symbol of a father, than any kind of actual, personally involved parent. Prefect got to see him talking to other adults, at meal times, and he got to hear him speak during prayers and family gatherings. That was about it.

His education has been... well... cult administered, so there are certain things that he is good at, and certain things he is very, very bad at. Basically, his reading/writing/arithmetic is all excellent, and he can pretty much recite the entire bible to you at will, but... he's not so great when it comes to science. Or History. Or just the basic life lessons that you accumulate from not growing up living in a cult.

Since he was in his mid-teens he's worked several jobs throughout the Compound. In his early years he assisted with agricultural work on a small patch of farmland, before being progressed to feeding and caring for the chickens and goats kept on the compound. In his early twenties his extreme devotion to the bible and the cult, led to his being assigned as a teacher to the children who were being born on the compound, as well as being entrusted to lead the mid-morning daily prayer sessions (which invariably involved copious weeping and the casting out of demons and the proclamation of the glory of subservience to the higher call of the lord.)

It was after several years of this that he was moved into his current career, and the one that saw him in international waters when the pandemic struck. Prefect was in the process of being dispatched for his first stint as a missionary for the cult when the outbreak happened. Just before leaving, he had been assigned two wives, one as a token of God's gratitude for his fealty to the compound and devotion to their work, and the second as a promise, for the rewards he would reap when he returned from his service as an evangelist. He has kissed them both on the cheek, and that is as close as he has ever been to having sex.

He has a lot of mixed feelings about this.

Character’s name: Victor Turlough (as 'Vislor' is a dumbass name)
Canon: Doctor Who
Classification: Townsperson

AU information: Turlough is from some part of the world where there are white people and civil war. When he was young, Turlough's family picked the wrong side of the conflict and (since his dad was a higher up official) were booted out of the country. Turlough was exiled to Britain where he lived, went to school, and gained a British accent. Eventually, Turlough was hired by the mysterious British crime organization 'the Black Guardian' to go to Zanzibar to kill an individual they called 'the Doctor'. If he did so, they'd use their fearsome underworld contacts and stupid duck hats to get connections so Turlough could return home. When arriving at Zanzibar, Turlough realized that killing sucks and he actually liked the Doctor, so he promptly went awol. He was living in Zanzibar, trying to avoid any contact with Britain or the outside world.

He's fine staying in Zanzibar since the seaport closed-all the better to avoid the Black Guardian anyway. Besides, he's made a small life for himself in the process. He also hates talking about his past and will not tell anybody anything about the mysterious tattoo he has on his arm, no siree bob. The outbreak happening and the ports closing were perhaps the best thing to happen to him: he wasn't that close to his family to begin with and the closing ports meant that he would finally be free from the grips of the Black Guardian.

Inventory:
Two generic blue suits
Three shirts
Two ties
Basic toiletries
Socks, underwear and nice shoes.
A crystalline rock that looks kind of like a faucet tap
A pistol and ammunition
Wallet and passport
SUNSCREEN. As he is a pale ginger British person and he is living in Zanzibar. He needs sunscreen.

Character’s name: Anatoly Sergievsky
Canon: Chess (specifically the 2008 Chess in Concert version, since Chess changes its songs/characterization/whatever more than Madonna)
Classification: Boat arrival

AU information: Anatoly probably has a boring childhood. At the least, it's not important to the show and he isn't chock full of Freudian issues like the other two main characters are. What's important is that he is a chess player and a damn good one. Good enough to be in the chess world championships, playing for Russia against Freddie Trumper, the nearly unlikeable American champion. After some bitching and moaning about how chess has gotten so political and he just wants to play the goddamn game, Anatoly meets Florence Vassey, Freddie's second (and his at the time girlfriend). The two hit it off and fall in love. However, Anatoly is married and has children (funnily enough, his wife is named Svetlana. There are two lady names in Russia, apparently). But yeah, everybody in this show is kind of an asshole.

Back at the games, Freddie throws a bitchfit and effectively dumps Florence who, in a grand moment of 'fuck you' decides to come with Anatoly as Anatoly decides to defect to England (even though he still loves Russia-he just hates all the chess people). Freddie resigns the match and Anatoly becomes chess world champion. However, then the outbreak hit and people started dying. Anatoly and Florence were separated in the fracas and, instead of defecting to England, Anatoly ended up on a boat to Zanzibar. To the best of his knowledge, Florence doesn't know where he is (which really makes him sad) and his wife has no clue where he is (which he really doesn't care about).

He will probably bitch and moan a lot about this in Zanzibar. Anatoly's role in Chess is to generally be kind of unlikable and bitch and moan a lot.

Inventory:
A black suit.
2 white button up shirts.
Shoes, socks and spare underwear.
One of those teeny tiny magnetic chess boards-like for car trips or something.
Smartphone and charger
A wallet, containing a photograph of Svetlana and his kids that's hidden behind a photograph of Florence.
A folder full of paperwork-visa paperwork, paperwork saying that he's chess world champion, all sorts of paperwork like that.
