Character’s name: Rachid Mansour
Canon: Sirens.
Classification: townsperson.
AU information: - Rachid isn't so much an AU as a post-canon. Basically, he's 8 years older and still an EMT.
- Rachid was on holiday. An awesome, tropical holiday that he'd saved up for AGES for. He's very gutted that the whole thing has destroyed itself. 'very gutted' is a bit of an understatement, as all his friends and family are dead, but let's not get into that right now. In fact, let's pretend that never happened and he still IS on holiday.
- That's basically was his strategy until a government official came and poked him with a stick on the beach and asked him what he was doing to help. After a few moments of debate, and then being threatened with toilet cleaning duty, he owned up to being an EMT. Which he probably would have done anyway - Rachid's a good guy at heart, just a bit lazy and a bit dim from time to time.
- Since then, he's been given one of the few motorbikes and emergency medical kits. See his inventory.
- Just like canon, he loves Angry Birds, is a previously convicted, and reformed, joyrider (he drives them ambulances like they're stolen), and is an on-and-off-again Muslim, who will drink, but not eat bacon, observe Ramadan, but not really go to the mosque much.
Inventory:
- A bottle of Malibu, bought in duty free.
- An iPhone with Angry Birds, a ton of music, pictures and random downloads from youtube. You know he loves it.
- ten pairs of beach shorts.
- two t-shirts. You can see his priorities.
- A pair of aviators. He wears these constantly.
- A travel sized Islamic prayer mat.
Acquisitions from the island
- A motorbike and petrol ration card.
- A EMT sized first aid kit. Sans defibrillators, but you're gonna have to live with that.
- A high-vis vest, with 'AMBULANCE' written on the back in marker pen.
