AU information: -Ashley is basically the same as in canon, just moved eight years into the future. He's still an EMT, reclusive, privacy-obsessed, passive, etc. Also Scottish. And gay. And he'll be very sad to lose all his shiny technology toys. :(

-He was working in Leeds as an EMT until the outbreak, which if it's cool I'm gonna say hit the British Isles early on because damn they always do, don't they? In the ensuing chaos, he had a bag packed and was ready to evacuate, but was separated from his family and his best friend Stuart. He managed to make his way to Liverpool and get on a boat, hoping his loved ones managed the same. He'll be quietly thrilled to reunite with Rachid and quietly devastated when no one else he knows is on the island.

Inventory: His EMT uniform, sneakers, and trench coat, which he wore on board; a backpack containing:
